This blog is about the Blessed, Sacred Syllable OM. Material life is characterized by impermanance, as well as suffering due to our identification with the body, only. Man has three basic components: physical body, mind, and spiritual self. OM is the sound that perfectly "indicates" the spiritual self, the true self of each and every one of us. So, for happiness and wellness to be established, we must invest time each day in meditation and contemplation. OM is the technique used by yogis of the himalayas as well as monks in diverse religions of the east (Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.). There are thousands of meditators who have experienced incredible levels of spiritual bliss and peace through OM. Some say that OM is the oldest, or one of the oldest meditation techniques known to man. In today's world of hustle and bustle, we must find a way to experience the Transcendental Divine, or God, depending upon your theological position. I hope you enjoy the postings to this blog.
